The bar plots indicate the mean (standard deviation [SD]) value of the mean activity count (MAC), peak activity count (PAC), and low activity ratio (LAR) for healthy individuals (HI) and for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. In the RA patients, the MAC is significantly lower (Welch two-sample t test: t = 2.74, p < 0.01) and the LAR is significantly higher (Welch two-sample t test: t = −4.16, p < 0.01) than was found for the healthy individuals. By contrast, the PAC is not significantly different between the RA patients and the healthy individuals (Wilcoxon rank sum test: W = 183.5, p = 0.66).
